O Lord, Grant me your strength, so I will have
courage in every situation; Grant me your love, so I will never give up on
anybody; Grant me your wisdom, so I will show others the path to success; Grant
me your mercy, so I will forgive those who have hurt me; Grant me your peace,
so I will find the best in everybody; Grant me your hope, so I will never give
up; Grant me your joy, so I will be thankful for all my blessings; And Grant me
your grace, so you will always be at my side. Amen
Lord Jesus, you showed
concern for a large crowd of people when they followed you into a remote place
and were hungry. You fed all the people with two fish and five loaves of bread.
In our world, in our country, in our own community, many people live with
hunger every day. Yet there is more than enough in out world to feed everyone.
Help the nations of the earth learn to share, so that no one has to go hungry.
Bless those who do not have enough to eat today. Show us what we have to do to
make sure everyone has enough food. We pray through the intercession of the
Holy Spirit and in your holy name. Amen
